# Extensions

> Install, manage, search, remove, and review permissions for browser extensions in Strawberry.

Open extension settings at `strawberry://settings/extensions`.

Strawberry can install extensions from the Chrome Web Store. Extensions are new in Strawberry, so extensions outside the curated compatibility set may show a note during installation. Use the feedback form to report issues.

## Manage extensions

1. Open `strawberry://settings/extensions`.
2. Search installed extensions.
3. Click **Add more extensions** to open the extension store route.
4. Open per-extension **Permissions** to review or revoke optional permissions.
5. Delete an extension from the extension list when you no longer need it.

## Installing extensions

* Extensions can be installed from the Chrome Web Store.
* Extensions outside Strawberry's curated list show a note during installation because extensions are new in Strawberry. Use the feedback form to report issues.
* Extensions known to be incompatible may be blocked.

## Permission notes

Required permissions are informational and cannot be revoked. Optional permissions and optional origins can be revoked or cleared.

For AI tool permissions, use `strawberry://settings/integrations` or `strawberry://settings/ai-permissions`. Browser extension permissions and companion app-tool permissions are separate controls.

## Best practices

* Install only extensions you trust.
* Prefer the few extensions you actually use.
* Review optional origins before granting broad website access.
* Remove extensions that duplicate built-in Strawberry AI workflows.
