# Use case templates

> Use Strawberry's curated use case templates for sales, recruiting, operations, marketing, scraping, research, and analysis.

Use case templates are curated starter prompts. They help you discover useful Strawberry workflows without writing a prompt from scratch.

Open templates at `strawberry://knowledge` or from the new tab page at `strawberry://newtab`.

## Categories

The current shared category list includes:

* Sales
* Recruiting
* Operations
* Marketing
* Scraping
* Research and Analysis

Some templates are general and may not belong to only one category.

## Examples

Templates in the codebase include workflows such as:

* Build a personalized outreach sequence
* Enrich a lead list with decision-maker contacts
* Find new leads
* Research a prospect before a meeting
* Research event attendees and send outreach
* Keep a CRM updated from emails
* Build a market authority report
* Analyze a competitor's website and positioning
* Source candidates on LinkedIn
* Set up a daily morning briefing
* Triage an inbox and draft replies
* Audit what Strawberry can do for your company
* Migrate n8n automations to Strawberry routines
* Forward invoices to a bookkeeper

## How to use a template

1. Open `strawberry://knowledge` or `strawberry://newtab`.
2. Pick a category filter if useful.
3. Click a template.
4. Review the pre-filled prompt.
5. Add context, constraints, or examples.
6. Send it to the selected companion.

## Best practices

* Treat templates as starting points, not fixed scripts.
* Add the exact source, account, file, or system you want Strawberry to use.
* Tell the companion what output you want.
* Ask it to confirm before sending messages, mutating systems, or spending credits beyond a sample.
