Top-ups are prepaid extra credits. Personal top-ups belong to your Personal account. Shared team top-ups belong to the team and can be used by its members.

Buy top-up credits

  1. Open strawberry://settings/account. Team admins and owners can also open strawberry://settings/team.
  2. Check the account named beside the balance, then choose Buy Top-Ups or Buy team top-ups.
  3. Choose a preset amount or enter a custom dollar amount.
  4. Select Next, review the purchase, and confirm payment.
Credits are added after successful payment. An ordinary top-up purchase adds extra credits without restarting your plan’s rate-limit window. You can also buy from Billing & usage on the web. Team members need an admin or owner to buy shared credits. Personal purchase controls are unavailable while you belong to a team.

Automatic refills

Automatic refills buy more credits when the selected account’s credits run low. You choose the amount to buy each time and a monthly spending limit. Strawberry sets when to trigger the refill based on that amount; there is no separate threshold to choose.
  1. Open strawberry://settings/account, or strawberry://settings/team for shared team credits.
  2. Open Buy Top-Ups or Buy team top-ups.
  3. Enable Refill automatically when credits run low.
  4. Choose the refill amount and Monthly spend limit.
  5. Follow the dialog to save or complete checkout. If you need to add a payment method, refills turn on after the purchase succeeds.
Team admins and owners manage shared refills. Personal automatic refills are not triggered while you belong to a team. Automatic purchases pause when the monthly spending limit is reached. If payment is declined or no payment method is available, automatic refills turn off and billing settings show why. Refills add credits without resetting the plan’s rate-limit window.

When top-ups are used

Strawberry normally uses available included credits before purchased top-ups. Top-ups can also pay while monthly credits remain but a rate limit is holding them back. Purchased top-ups do not expire at month end. When a team pays for you, its available credits come first. Eligible Personal plan and extra credits can then serve as a reserve. The free Personal allowance is excluded, and another team’s balance is not used automatically.

Plan credits and rate limits

Plan credits are your included allowance. A rate-limit window can temporarily hold back some of that allowance even while your monthly balance is positive. Check the refill time and Available now at strawberry://settings/account. Eligible top-ups and other extra credits let you continue while they remain. They do not increase or restart the plan’s window.

Control usage

  • Ask for a small sample before a large batch.
  • Limit the number of rows, companies, pages, or candidates.
  • Agree on a plan before work starts.
  • Reuse memory and skills.
  • Stop or steer a chat if it is solving the wrong task.

Team credits

Teams use prepaid credits and shared top-ups. There is no automatic pay-as-you-go overage or overage cap to raise. If no eligible credits remain, wait for a refill or ask an admin or owner to add shared credits or review your seat plan.
