Most browser shortcuts match familiar Chrome-style shortcuts. Use Cmd on macOS and Ctrl on Windows unless a shortcut says otherwise.

Core shortcuts

  • Settings: Cmd/Ctrl + ,
  • New tab: Cmd/Ctrl + T
  • New window: Cmd/Ctrl + N
  • New incognito window: Shift + Cmd/Ctrl + N
  • Reopen closed tab: Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + T
  • Open address bar: Cmd/Ctrl + L
  • Close tab: Cmd/Ctrl + W
  • Close window: Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + W
  • New chat: Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + E
  • Find: Cmd/Ctrl + F
  • Copy tab address: Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + C
  • Add or remove bookmark: Cmd/Ctrl + D
  • Print: Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Toggle chat sidebar: Cmd/Ctrl + E
  • Show tabs in sidebar: Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + S
  • Toggle tab sidebar when vertical tabs are enabled: Cmd/Ctrl + S
  • Switch to the previous recent tab: Ctrl + Tab
  • Cycle backward in the recent-tab switcher: Ctrl + Shift + Tab
  • Universal Search for tabs and chats: Cmd + Shift + A on macOS or Ctrl + Shift + A on Windows

Bookmarks and downloads

  • Bookmark manager: Cmd + Option + B on macOS or Ctrl + Shift + O on Windows
  • Downloads: Cmd + Shift + J on macOS or Ctrl + J on Windows

Companion switching

In chat input, Cmd + . cycles through companions. Use Shift with the shortcut to cycle backward.

Tip

If a shortcut is not working, check whether focus is inside a web page, browser chrome, chat input, or an external window. Some shortcuts depend on the active surface.
