What feels familiar
Both Strawberry and Chrome support everyday browser work:- Tabs and windows
- Address bar search
- Bookmarks
- Downloads
- Saved passwords
- History
- Profiles
- Extensions from the Chrome Web Store, subject to compatibility
- Default browser settings
What Strawberry adds

| Connected apps | Browser extensions and web apps | Profile integrations that companions can use with permissions |
| Memory | Site data and browser history | Companion and shared memory for durable work context |
| Routines | External automation tools | Built-in scheduled and event-triggered companion routines |
| Transcription | Usually separate apps or extensions | Built-in voice dictation and meeting transcription |

When to use Strawberry instead of Chrome
Use Strawberry when the work benefits from context, delegation, or repetition:- Research across many sources
- Extracting structured data from websites
- Preparing for meetings from calendar, email, web, and CRM context
- Creating reports or spreadsheets from browsing work
- Running scheduled checks or inbox workflows
- Using memory and skills to make repeated tasks more consistent
When Chrome may still be enough
Chrome may be enough when you only need passive browsing, a specific unsupported extension, or an existing company policy that requires Chrome.Migration path
You do not need to switch everything at once. Start with one Strawberry profile, import bookmarks and passwords, connect one or two apps, and run a few workflows. After you trust the setup, make Strawberry your default browser atstrawberry://settings/default-browser.
