Dictation or a saved meeting
Use the microphone in chat to dictate text. A chat recording can also become a saved meeting when Strawberry detects a conversation. Length alone does not determine whether a recording becomes a meeting. When you want a recording saved as a meeting, openstrawberry://meetings and choose Start meeting.
Online meetings
Strawberry can record online meetings on Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. Recording can start from:- Auto-detected meeting URL toasts
- Scheduled meeting notifications from Google Calendar

In-person meetings
Openstrawberry://meetings and choose Start meeting. Strawberry captures microphone audio and transcribes the conversation.
During a recording
A floating pill widget shows audio level bars and controls. Hover to reveal pause and stop. Drag the widget to reposition it.First-time setup
macOS:- Enable microphone access.
- Enable screen and system audio access for remote participants.
- Restart Strawberry after permission changes.
- Enable microphone access.
- Strawberry does not require a separate system-audio permission prompt. If audio is missing, check your Windows audio and privacy settings.

Where transcripts appear
Openstrawberry://meetings to browse meeting summaries and transcripts. The Recordings filter shows saved recordings that did not become meetings or still need transcription.
Meeting files are also available in your workspace through strawberry://library.
